Job Description
The iNava Platform by SG Analytics is a SaaS Competitive Intelligence offering. The platform revolutionizes the insight generation process from data collected from the open internet. It enables various professional teams (such as product and sales managers) by delivering actionable insights which otherwise take anywhere from several days to weeks to come through. The platform released in early 2021 is being actively used by multiple organizations across different geographies.
We are looking for experienced engineers in various roles, who can take ownership and accountability of different components of the platform and contribute to the success story.
Job Requirement
Skills required:
- 5+ years of experience using Python for Enterprise level data applications/systems.
- Proficient in working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB (any).
- Should have good programming skills and must know their way around basic data structures.
- Experience working with event-driven architecture and serverless workloads.
- Working knowledge of AWS or any other cloud environment.
- Experience with high-volume, streaming structured and unstructured datasets.
- Understanding of design principles for a scalable, high-performing, and high-availability architecture.
- Knowledge of batch-processing systems is a plus.
- Good to have experience with developing APIs.
- Knowledge and experience with implementing unit tests.
- Knowledge of Elastic Search and Caching systems will be a big plus.
- Knowledge of PySpark is good to have.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Excellent verbal communication skills. Good problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.
- Education: B.Tech/B.E. - Computers or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to design and scoping discussions.
- Architect, Develop, and Test product modules that are performant and scalable.
- Design and maintain large data systems.
- Contribute to the deployment of developed data applications on the cloud.
- Identify, reproduce, and resolve application issues in various stages of the product lifecycle.
- Contribute individually and lead a team of junior developers.
- Implementation of security and data protection compliances.
